쌀물쥐속(Sigmodontomys)은 비단털쥐과 쌀쥐족에 속하는 설치류 속이다.[1] 남아메리카물쥐속(Nectomys)과 검은쌀쥐속(Melanomys)에 가까우며, 남아메리카물쥐속에 포함시키기도 한다. 알파로쌀물쥐와 해리스쌀물쥐 2종을 포함하고 있지만 더 가까운 근연종이 있는 지는 불확실하다.[2]
