시간의 비현실성

시간의 비현실성에 관한 주장은 캠브리지 이상주의자 J. M. E. 맥타가트 (1866-1925)의 가장 잘 알려진 철학 작품이다. 처음 1908년 마인드 저널 기사로 게시된 주장에서, 맥타가트는 시간에 관한 우리의 설명은 모순이 있거나 순환적, 또는 부족하기 때문에 시간이 비현실적이라고 주장했다. 주장의 약간 다른 판본은 1927년 맥타가트의 가장 위대한 작품, 존재의 본질[1] 제2권에서 한 장으로 나타났다.
