수마트라수달(Lutra sumatrana)은 족제비과에 속하는 희귀종 수달의 일종이다.^[3] 1998년까지는 멸종된 것으로 간주되었지만, 나중에 작은 개체군이 발견되었다. 몸무게는 5~8kg이고, 몸길이는 50~82cm 정도에 꼬리 길이는 35~50cm이다.^[4]
