노루아과(Capreolinae, 이명: Odocoileinae)는 우제목 사슴과에 속하는 아과 분류군의 하나이다.[1] 노루아과의 기원은 7,700만년 전부터 1억 1,500만년 전의 미오세 후기의 중앙아시아로 거슬러 올라가는 것으로 추정하고 있다.[2] "신세계 사슴"(New World deer)이라고도 부른다. 신대륙사슴이라는 영어명에도 불구하고 순록, 말코손바닥사슴, 노루 모두 유라시아에 서식한다.
