외국인 vs. 등록외국인

What's different between 외국인 (foreigner) and 등록외국인 (registered foreigner)?

I was browsing 국가통계포털's webpage, then I found statistics in [인구·가구 > 인구총조사 > 인구부문 > 총조사인구(2005) > 전수부문 > 성/국적별 외국인-시도] and [인구·가구 > 외국인등록인구 > 시군구별 외국인등록인구] are inconsistent. First one said S. Korea have 237,517 foreigners in year 2005, and second one said S. Korea have 485,477 foreign residents in year 2005. What's different between these two? Translation - Administrative districts of United States Counties

How would you translate "Township" as in en:Township (United States) into Korean? Townships are Administrative Districts (행정 구역) of U.S. Counties (군/郡). They are separate from cities (시). In Japanese, it is translated as 郡区 (literally: county district). Could the same translation be used in Korean as well, making it 군구? The LocalisationUpdate extension has gone live

The LocalisationUpdate extension is now enabled for all Wikimedia projects. From now on new localisations that become available in SVN will become available to your project within 24 hours. Your localisations get into SVN from translatewiki.net typically within a day and at worst in two days. This is a huge improvement from the old practice where the localisations became available with new software. This could take weeks, even months.

The best way to answer the first question is to visit the translatewiki.net. Need help on meta by a native speaker

Hi all! On meta, the coordiation wiki, someone added a whole bunch of pages for deletion. We rarely have native speakers there who can help us if the reason for deletion is corret. It's hard for us to decide whether we should or shouldn't delete the translation because we cannot determine if the pages are correct and should therefore be kept or if they are incorrect and should be deleted.
