아프리카황금고양이(Caracal aurata)는 서아프리카와 중앙아프리카의 우림에서 서식하는 야생 고양이의 일종이다. 국제 자연 보전 연맹(IUCN)이 취약종(VU, Vulnerable species)으로 분류하고 있다.[1] 몸길이 범위는 61~101cm이고 꼬리 길이는 16~46cm 정도이다.[3] 가장 가까운 종은 카라칼과 서벌이다.[4] 이전에는 아프리카황금고양이속(Profelis)의 유일종으로 분류했다.[2]
