서민도로주

서민도로주(영어: Province of Occidental Mindoro, 타갈로그어: Kanlurang Mindoro)는 필리핀 미마로파 지방에 속한 주로 주도는 맘부라오이며 인구는 487,414명(2015년 기준), 면적은 5,865.7km2이다. 민도로섬 서반부를 차지한다. 동쪽으로는 민도로섬 동반부를 차지하는 동민도로주, 서쪽으로는 남중국해, 남서쪽으로는 민도로 해협을 경계로 팔라완주와 접하며 북쪽으로는 바탕가스주와 접한다.
서민도로주는 농업이 활발한 편에 속하며 주민과 계절 노동자 대부분이 쌀 생산으로 생계를 유지한다. 옥수수와 양파, 마늘도 생산되는데 쌀 다음으로 서민도로주의 대표적인 수출 품목으로 꼽힌다. 삼림 자원이 풍부하고 마호가니와 같은 내구성이 높은 목재가 많이 생산된다. 농업 뿐만 아니라 광업도 활발한 편에 속하는데 광산에서는 금과 구리, 은, 크롬, 석회석, 장식용 녹옥이 채굴된다.
서민도로주에는 대규모 제조 시설이 없지만 서민도로주에서 가장 큰 고용주는 정부이며 민간 분야에서 가장 큰 고용주는 150명을 고용할 수 있는 서민도로 전력 협동 조합(Occidental Mindoro Electric Cooperative, OMECO)이다. 최근에는 대규모 삼림 벌채로 인한 주내 하천 수량 감소 때문에 관개 용수 부족이 심각하며 그로 인해 주내 쌀 생산에 타격을 주고 있다.
