〈Another One Bites the Dust〉는 영국의 록 밴드 퀸의 히트곡 중 하나이다. 존 디콘이 작사, 작곡하였다. 대한민국에선 한때 금지곡이었다.[1] 또한, 이 싱글은 전 세계에서 총 7백만장이 팔렸다. [2]
백마스킹 논란[편집]
1980년대 초반, 미국의 크리스챤 전도사 일부는 이 곡을 백마스킹하면 "Decide to smoke marijuana" ,"It's fun to smoke marijuana", "Start to smoke marijuana" 등의 대마초를 흡연하라는 구절들이 나온다고 주장하였고, 유통사인 할리우드 레코드측에서는 이를 부인하였다.,[3][4][5][6]
CPR에서의 활용[편집]
이 곡은 영국 심장 재단과 미국 소생술 협회가 심폐소생술에 적합한 곡으로 선정했다. 왜냐하면 Another One Bites The Dust의 박자는 분당 110비트로 , 심폐소생술 과정에서 1분당 100~120 번의 흉부압박을 실시해야 되는 수칙과 부합하기 때문이다.[7][8]
