레이저 히드라
레이저 히드라(Razer Hydra)는 세계 최초로 PC 게임 속에 자연스런 몸의 움직임을 반영할 수 있게 해주는 유선 자기식 모션 트래킹 플랫폼으로, 2007년에 설립된 식스엔스에 의해 개발되었다. 1mm와 1˚의 움직임조차 인식할 정도로 정확하게 인식한다.[1] 레이저 히드라는 유선이고 베이스 스테이션 감지 범위가 91cm에 불과했지만, 동일 회사에서 2014년 7월에 출시가 예정하고 있는 스템 시스템(STEM system)은 무선이며 감지 범위가 2.4m로 늘어났다.[2]

- 기지국(Base Station) : 움직임을 추적하는 자력 구체이다. 부드럽게 무광 코팅이 되어 있으나, 구체 부분만은 그렇지 않다. 구체 부분은 켰을 때 검고 반투명한 플라스틱 밑에서 녹색 빛이 비치는 것을 볼 수 있다.
- 컨트롤러(Controller) : 각각의 손에 하나씩 쥐어야 하는 눈차크 형태의 컨트롤러이다.[3]
