프리노바트라쿠스속(Phrynobatrachus)은 개구리목에 속하는 양서류 속의 하나이다. 프리노바트라쿠스과(Phrynobatrachidae)의 유일속으로 87종으로 이루어져 있다. 사하라 이남 아프리카에서 발견된다. "아프리카강개구리류"(African river frogs)로도 불린다.[1][2][3][4] 프리노바트라쿠스속 개구리는 아프리카에서 가장 흔한 양서류의 하나이다. 보통 30mm 이하의 크기로 작은 편으로 빨리 움직이는 개구리류이다.[5] 건조한 사바나 지역부터 우림 등 다양한 서식지에서 서식한다.
