무당벌레(Harmonia axyridis)[2]는 무당벌레과에 속하는 곤충이다. 색은 노란 귤색에서 검정색에 이르며 점의 개수는 0~22개이다. 동아시아가 기원이지만 진딧물과 깍지벌레를 통제할 목적으로 북아메리카와 유럽에도 들여왔다.
