Names of the kings of the Goryeo dynasty

Why are the titles of kings in the Korean Wikipedia usually "Dynasty name (왕조) + temple name (묘호)", for example 고려 고종 but for kings where is no templename, it is "dynasty name + temple name + king (왕)"? For example: 고려 충렬왕? Why is not 고려 고종왕 or 고려 충렬? Is it because there is no temple name for 충렬 that 왕 is added? @Christian140: "King Chungnyeol was the first Goryeo ruler to be remembered by the title wang (王), meaning "king". Previous rulers had received temple names with the suffix jo (祖) or jong (宗), meaning "revered ancestor" and a title typically reserved for emperors. Thanks. What we are discussing about is if the German title should be "Chungnyeol Wang" or "König Chungnyeol" (meaning "King Chungnyeol"). In Literature, usually the letter is chosen. And I also think it is correct to translate 王 with "King". However, another user claims "wang" is part of the name and must not be translated. Korean government websites, though, all translate wang with King in the English version [1], [2], [3], [4], [5] What do you think? --Christian140 (토론) 2019년 11월 18일 (월) 17:05 (KST)

It is right to choose the name that is most commonly used, but I think it seems to be a matter of personal taste. In the Standard Korean Language Dictionary, only 충렬왕 is listed as single word. 충렬 is not in the dictionary.--Namoroka (토론) 2019년 11월 19일 (화) 00:11 (KST)

라리따 빤요팟

The article 라리따 빤요팟 seems to be an unattributed translation of en:Lalita Panyopas. Specifically, section 약력 is identical to the first paragraph of the biography section on the English Wikipedia page apart from the first sentence. Alas, I do not speak a word of Korean (yet) and thus I have GoogleTrans-visited you to check out your discussions re the upcoming uCoC, which I have found here.

Kudos for the great idea of this multilingual embassy page! I will suggest it to my other language wikis: es- de- pl-, etc. Where do such queries from us, non-Korean wiki strangers, finally land, I wonder?

By the way, do you know that GTranslate claims that your 위키백과:사랑방 is a "Love room"? Sweet name, I say!
