스티븐 에반스(C. Stephen Evans , 1948년 - , 애틀랜타, 조지아)는 미국의 철학자이다. 그는 미국에서 철학자 키에르케고르에 관하여 주도적인 전문가이며, 종교의 철학, 심리학, 그리고;기독교에 관한 광범위한 주제들을 출판하고있다. 그는 현재 베일러 대학교의 철학과 인문학 교수이다.[1]한국의 번역서로는 <철학. 변증학 용어 사전>이 있다.

교육 및 경력[편집]

그는 휘튼 대학교와 예일 대학교(Ph.D.)에서 공부하였고, 미국 휘튼 대학교와 캘빈 칼리지에서도 강의를 했었다. 미국 키에르케고르학회와 미국 기독교철학회 회장을 하였다.[2][3] C.S. 루이스 상을 2012년에 받았다.
