폴립테루스과(Polypteridae)는 조기어류 과의 하나이다. 다기어목(Polypteriformes)의 유일한 과이다.
모든 종은 아프리카 열대 지방과 나일 강 수역의 담수, 주로 늪과 얕은 범람원 그리고 큰 강 어귀에서 서식한다.
종
현존하는 종은 2개 속에 12종이 있다.[1] 종류는 폴립 세네갈스,폴립 엔드리케리, 폴립 오르나티피니스, 폴립 팔마스, 폴립 폴리, 폴립 비키르, 폴립 리웨이드, 폴립 비챠 라프라디, 폴립 데르헤지, 폴립 뷰티코파리, 폴립 안솔기, 폴립 레트로핀니스, 폴립 투젤시, 폴립 콘기크스, 폴립 로웨이, 폴립 위크시, 폴립 메리오나리스 등이 있다.
