홍메치과(Aulopidae)는 홍메치목에 속하는 조기어류과의 하나이다.[1] 대부분의 열대 및 아열대 바다에서 발견되며, 동태평양에서만 발견되지 않는다. 히메치 등을 포함하고 있다. 겉모습이 매퉁이과를 닮았으며, 몸길이는 60cm까지 자란다.
