헬무트 라헨만

헬무트 라헨만(Helmut Lachenmann, 본명: Helmut Friedrich Lachenmann, 1935년 11월 27일 ~ )은 독일의 현대 클래식 음악의 작곡가이다. 그의 노고는 악기 구체 음악과 연관되어 있다.

생애

라헨만은 슈투트가르트에서 태어나 제2차 세계 대전(당시 11세) 후 지역 교회 성가대에서 노래를 부르기 시작했다. 초기에 음악에 적성을 보여준 그는 이미 10대 시절에 작곡을 하고 있었다. Jürgen Uhde와 함께 피아노를 배웠고 1955년부터 1958년까지 Musikhochschule Stuttgart에서 Johann Nepomuk David와 함께 작곡과 이론을 배웠으며 베니스에서 1958년부터 1960년까지 이탈리아의 작곡가 루이지 노노의 첫 개인 제자였다.
