크라이메리아과(Kraemeriidae)는 망둑어목에 속하는 조기어류과의 하나이다.^[1]^[2] 인도양과 중부 태평양에서 발견된다. 얕은 연못 속의 모래와 산호초에서 산다. 아주 작은 물고기로 최대 몸길이는 6cm 정도지만 보통 4cm 정도이다. 2속 9종으로 이루어져 있다.^[2] 한 종은 마다가스카르섬의 민물에 제한적으로 분포한다. 번식기의 몸 색깔 변화로 수컷 물고기의 제일등지느러미 뒷쪽에 둥근 반점이 생긴다. 분자생물학 연구를 통해 망둑어과로 분류하기도 한다.^[3]
