샬러츠빌 (Charlottesville) 은 미국 버지니아 주에 있는 도시이다. 지리적으로는 알버말 카운티 (Albemarle County) 에 속해 있으나 행정적으로는 분리되어 있다. 샬러츠빌의 인구는 2016년 조사 기준 46,912 명이다[1]. 미국 상무부 경제분석국 (Bureau of Economic Analysis, BEA) 에서는 통계 목적으로 샬러츠빌과 알버말 카운티의 인구를 통합하여 사용하며, 그 인구는 약 15만명이다.

샬러츠빌은 두 미국 대통령, 토머스 제퍼슨과 제임스 먼로의 고향이기도 하다.

토머스 제퍼슨 대통령이 설립한 버지니아 대학교(University of Virginia) 가 위치해 있다.

2017년 8월 12일, 극우 단체들이 이 곳에서 행진하였다.
