Early life (1991-2006)
Junggle was born on 14 August 1991 at Anseong, In Gyeonggido in South Korea. It was a rural village surrounded by beautiful forest and river.
According to her mother, Junggle often got inspiration from western masterpieces when she was five and one of the biggest impression was made by a diving scene in Pocahontas.
Allegedly, she always loved to wander around the rivers and mountains to envision an artistic scene of Pocahontas.
From the age of 2, she fully devoted herself to exploring something creative. Her grandmother always found her in a dog house where she invented an innovative fishing rod for frogs and sparrow trap. She also turned a dining table into a unique space for her creative inspiration.
High school (2007-2010)
In her high school, Junggle wanted to be a musical actress and tried really hard, but in 2009 she experienced an epic failure in her first audition. It was her dream to play Lucy’s role in Jekyll & Hyde but she realized her limit. Surprisingly it was her turning point. she met an art director,Tomic and learnt a lot about advertisement. Her life entered a new chapter.
In twenties (2011- present)
In her twenty, Junggle joined Sweatheart, a student creative team. With four members, she buckled down to make ads and got to develop a skill set about making ads. After an intensive five-month work, her team received many awards including 3 medals in Clio(picture and press), which was the highest number of awards given to one student team in 2011.
In 2011 Junggle received a gold medal with her new work “Facedog” in Busan Ad Stars, international award shows held in South Korea, and that led to her first job as an intern at Cheil Worldwide for three months which is the leading ad agency in South Korea.
