스트렙토식물 또는 스트렙토식물아문(Streptophytina)은 공식적으로는 2개의 강(綱)을 포함하는 아문(亞門, subphylum)의 일종이다.(그러나 스트렙토식물문(Streptophyta) 이라는 용어를 써서 문(門) 레벨로 사용하기도 한다. 아래 참조) 2개의 강은 윤조목(좁은 의미의 윤조식물)을 포함하는 윤조강(Charophyceae)과 유배식물(육상식물, 선태식물 그리고 관다발식물)을 포함하는 유배강(Embryophyceae)이다.
스트렙토식물문(streptophyta)은 공식적으로는 식물 문(門, phylum)의 일종이지만, 아계(亞界)의 일종으로 사용되기도 하며, 이전에 윤조식물문(Charophyta)에 포함되었던 녹조류(윤조강)의 여러 목(目)과 마찬가지로 육상식물(embryophytes)을 가리키는 용어로 사용되기도 한다.[1]
한 연구는 Mesostigmatales목, Chlorokybales목, Klebsormidiales목, 별해캄목, Coleochaetales목 그리고 윤조목을 스트렙토식물문(Streptophyta)에 포함시킨다.[2]
