My work

I'm a Principal Software Engineer at the Wikimedia Foundation in Data Platform Engineering. I've had the good fortune to work on our web, native iOS and Android app, and multimedia experiences and the infrastructure and instrumentation that supports them. Prior to my current role I was working as an Engineering Director supporting a handful of teams, including for Abstract Wikipedia, where the team has been building a collaborative, multi-programming language and multilingual function-as-a-service offering for the Wikimedia ecosystem with the ultimate goal of generating natural language for prose in all Wikimedia supported languages - https://wikifunctions.org/. I originally joined the Wikimedia Foundation as a Senior Software Engineer working cross-platform on Wikipedia Zero.
