흰개미붙이목(Embioptera)은 주로 열대 및 아열대에서 발견되는 곤충의 목이다. 유시아강에 속한다. 흰개미붙이목은 "Embiodea" 또는 "Embiidina"로도 불린다.[1]

기록종은 약 360종 이상이며,[2][3] 현존하는 종은 약 2,000여 종으로 추산하고 있다.[4] 이 목의 정확한 계통발생 분류는 이 목과 함께 2개의 목 민벌레목[2][5]과 대벌레목[6]을 하나의 자매군으로 묶느냐에 따라서 약간의 논쟁이 있으며, 최근까지 이들 분류의 정확도에 관해 논쟁이 지속되고 있다.[7] 이 목의 종들은 남극대륙을 제외한 모든 대륙, 특히 열대 지역에 가장 많이 발견되며, 전 세계적으로 분포한다.[8] 한국에는 1종만이 분포한다.
