하르샤 팔라는 카마루파 왕국의 팔라 왕조의 통치자인 고 팔라와 나야나 왕비의 아들이다. 그는 서기 1015년부터 1035년까지 왕국을 다스렸다.[1]
다르마 팔라에 대한 동판 설명에 따르면, 유명하고 활기찬 왕 고팔라는 나야나라는 이름을 가진 왕비가 있었다고 한다. 그녀는 팔라 왕조의 등불과 같은 유명한 하르사 팔라를 낳았고, 그 명성이 삼계에 퍼졌다.
