제임스 챈스

제임스 챈스(James Chance) 또는 제임스 화이트(James White, 본명: James Siegfried, 1953년 4월 20일 ~ )는 미국의 색소폰 연주자, 키보드 연주자, 가수이다.

노 웨이브(no wave)의 핵심 인물인 챈스는 1970년대 후반부터 여러 밴드(Teen Jesus and the Jerks, James Chance and the Contortions, James White and the Blacks, The Flaming Demonics, James Chance & the Sardonic Symphonics, James Chance and Terminal City, James Chance and Les Contortions 등)에서 뉴욕 음악계에서 즉흥적인 재즈풍 음악과 펑크의 조합을 연주해 왔다.
