아더 골딩

아더 골딩 (Arthur Golding,  1536년 4월 26일 – 1606년 4월 23일)은 30개 이상의 라틴어 작품을 영어로 번역한 영어 번역가였다. 윌리엄 셰익스피어의 작품의 영향 때문에 오늘날에는 Ovid's Metamorphoses 번역으로 가장 먼저 기억되지만, 당시에는 율리우스 카이사르의 갈리아 전기 번역으로 가장 유명했으며 장 칼뱅의 설교 번역은 개신교 종교 개혁의 교리를 전파하는 데 중요한 역할을 했다.
