스프링필드 (매사추세츠주)
스프링필드(Springfield)는 미국 매사추세츠주의 도시로, 햄프턴군의 군청 소재지이다. 2000년 인구 조사를 기준으로 인구는 152,082명이며, 2003년 추산 인구는 152,157명이다. 인구순으로 매사추세츠 주에서는 3위이며, 뉴잉글랜드에서는 보스턴, 프로비던스, 우스터에 이어 4위이다. 웨스턴 뉴잉글랜드 대학(Western New England University)가 있으며 STCC(Springfield Technical Community College)가 있다.
2019년 스프링필드는 다운타운을 중심으로 빈곤지수가 줄지 않고 있어 전체 학교에 소득과 상관없이 전체 학생들에게 점심을 제공하고 있다.[1]
