Prof. Keon Jae Lee is a prominent figure in the field of materials science and engineering[1]. After graduating from Daewon Foreign Language High School, he pursued his higher education at Yonsei University for his Bachelor's degree, followed by a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign under the supervision of Ralph Nuzzo[2] and John A. Rogers[3]. His professional journey is marked by significant contributions to the development and commercialization of flexible electronics and self-powered sensor technologies.

Current Research[편집]

Professor Lee's current research at HAND (Human Augmentation Nano Device) Lab focuses on developing 'Human Augmentation Technologies based on Soft Electronics'. These systems integrate flexible displays, artificial skin, self-powered systems, and human-friendly sensors for real-life applications. His notable research projects[6] include:

  • Self-powered human augmented sensors
  • Semiconductor memory for neuromorphic computing
  • Human Electronics for bio-integrated μLED and laser-induced soft materials
