모터사이클의 종류를 분류하는 방법에는 여러가지가 있는데 모터ㅇㅇ의 이용 용도나 설계자의 의도 혹은 이 두가지를 섞어서 분류하기도 한다 motorcycles. 그 중 6가지로 주로 분류하는데 크루저, 스포츠, 투어러, 스탠다드, 듀얼퍼퍼스, 오프로드이다.[1] 스포츠 투어러 모터사이클을 7번째 분류로 넣기도 한다.[2] 엄격한 잣대를 들이밀어 모터사이클의 작은 사촌뻘인 모페드, 스쿠터, 언더본과 분류하지만[3] 다른 분류 제도는 모터사이클로 나누기도 한다ㅇㅇ.[4]
모든 계통의 모터사이클을 분류하는 방법은 없다..모터면허 ㅇㅇ 혹은 ㅇㅇ규칙와 같은 특정 법률로 확립한 ㅇㅇ정의나 연맹으로 엄격한 분류방법도 있다.here are strict classification systems enforced by competitive 모터사이클 경주연맹 or 오토바이의 법적 정의 established by certain legal jurisdictions for 오토바이운행규제, 배기량, 도로교통안전 규칙, 모터사이클 면허. 비공식적으로 분류 하거나 생산자,라이더, 모터사이클 매체가 이름을 붙이기도 한다. ㅇhere are also informal classifications or nicknames used by manufacturers, riders, and the motorcycling media. 몇몇 전문가는 6가지 주요분류에 벗어나지만 네이키드 바이크와 같은 하위분류를 주장하는 자들을 인정하지 않는데 주요 분류에 속하거나 외형만 바꿔 원래 모습을 알아보기 쉽기 때문이다.[5]
스트릿[편집]

스탠다드[편집]
스탠다드는 네이키드 혹은 로드스터로 불리며 다목적 다용도 스트릿 모터사이클이다. 허리를 세우고 타며 주로 비스듬히 누워 타는 ㅇㅇ 크루저와 몸을 숙여 타는 스포츠바이크의 중간이다. <g class="gr_ gr_240 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del" id="240" data-gr-id="240">hey</g> are recognized primarily by their upright riding position, partway between the reclining rider posture of the cruisers and the forward leaning <g class="gr_ gr_11 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" id="11" data-gr-id="11">sport</g> bikes.[6] 페달은 라이더의 아래에 있고 핸들바는 적당히 높아 앞으로 팔을 쭉 뻗지 않고 어깨가 엉덩이 위에 위치해 자연스러운 자세가 나온다.[7] 다루기 쉽고 낮은 가격에 적절한 배기량으로 입문자에게 맞춤형 모터사이클이다.
스탠다드는 종종 외장이나 바람막이가 없는데 있다해도 비교적 작은 편이다. 종종 네이키드라고 불리는데 외장을 감싼 스포츠 바이크가 급격히 퍼져 1990년대에 유명해진 용어이다. 지금은 사라진 듯하나 ㅇㅇ의 향수를 자극하여 단순함과 질, 쉬운 사용법이 특징이다. ㅇThe standard seemed to have disappeared, fueling nostalgia for the return of the 일본 모터사이클(Universal Japanese Motorcycle, UJM) which were admired for their simplicity, quality, and versatility.ㅇㅇ[8]
Muscle bike 머슬바이크는 모터사이클의 한 종류로써 스탠다드나 스포츠 바이크의 디자인을 본따 비정상적으로 높은 배기량을 자랑한다..[9][10] 로드스터는 스탠다드나 네이키드와 동일하다.[11]
