미하엘 로터(Michael Rother, 1950년 9월 2일 ~ )는 독일의 음악가이다. 노이!, 하르모니아의 밴드원으로 잘 알려져있으며, 크라프트베르크에서 초기 멤버를 맡기도 했다.

1965년 잠시 Spirits of Sound라는 밴드에 있었으며, 1971년 클라우스 딩어와 노이!를 결성했다. 또한 비슷한 시기에 하르모니아 역시 결성했으며, 두 밴드 모두 크라우트록 역사에 큰 족적을 남긴다. 1977년 Flammende Herzen를 시작으로 솔로 활동 역시 시작하였다.

2007년 함부르크에서 레드 핫 칠리 페퍼스와 함께 라이브 잼 밴드 연주를 했으며, 이 연주는 25분간 진행되기도 했다.[1] 이후 같은 하르모니아 멤버인 디터 뫼비우스와 Rother & Moebius라는 듀오를 만들어 투어를 돌기도 했다.[2]

2020년 그는 16년만의 정규 음반 Dreaming을 발매했다.[3] 이후 이탈리아의 전자 음악가 비토리아 마카브루니와의 합작 음반 As Long as the Light을 2021년 발매하기도 했다.
