EMD GP35는 디젤 전기 기관차이며 미국 일렉트로 모티브 디젤에서 1963년 7월부터 1965년 12월까지 제작했으며, 제너럴 모터스에서 1964년 5월부터 1966년 1월까지 제작되었다. 이 기관차는 1251대는 미국에서, 26대는 캐나다에서, 57대는 멕시코에서 운용했다. 힘은 2,500마력(1,860kW)을 생성하는 EMD 567D3A 16기통인 엔진이다.[1]
