홀아비꽃대과(-----科, 표준어: 홀아비꽃댓과, 학명: Chloranthaceae 클로란타케아이[*])는 속씨식물군의 단형 목인 홀아비꽃대목(-----目, 학명: Chloranthales 클로란탈레스[*])에 속하는 유일한 과이다.[1][2]
이 과는 본래, 열대와 아열대 지방에 존재하는 초본 또는 목본 식물로 모두 4개 속에 수십 종으로 이루어져 있다. 이 과의 구성원들은 방향성과 특이한 톱니 모양의 가장자리를 지닌 마주나기잎과 잎자루 사이의 턱잎(꼭두서니과(Rubiaceae)에서 발견되는 턱잎와 비슷한)을 가지며, 꽃은 작고 빛깔이 엷으며 꽃차례가 달려 있다. 꽃잎은 이 과에서는 없으며, 때로 꽃받침이 있다. 꽃은 자웅동체 또는 자웅이체일 수 있다. 과일은 하나의 심피로 이루어진 핵과와 비숫하다.
홀아비꽃대과는 어떤 다른 과와도 밀접한 관계가 없으며, 속씨식물에서 아주 초기에 분기된 계통으로, 진정쌍떡잎식물도, 외떡잎식물도 아니다.

2016년 APG IV 분류 체계에서는 홀아비꽃대과만을 포함하는 홀아비꽃대목을 속씨식물군 아래에 분류하며,[4] 이는 2009년 APG III 분류 체계의 분류와 동일하다.[5] 2003년 APG II 분류 체계 및 1998년 APG 분류 체계에서는 홀아비꽃대목을 두지 않고, 속씨식물군 아래 목 없이 홀아비꽃대과를 인정했다.[6][7]
1992년 손 분류 체계는 홀아비꽃대과를 목련강(Magnoliopsida[=속씨식물]) 목련아강(Magnoliideae[=쌍떡잎식물]) 목련상목(Magnolianae) 목련목(Magnoliales)아래에 분류했다.[8]
1981년 크론퀴스트 분류 체계는 홀아비꽃대과를 목련문(Magnoliophyta[=속씨식물]) 목련강(Magnoliopsida[=쌍떡잎식물]) 목련아강(Magnoliidae) 후추목(Piperales) 아래에 분류했다.[9]
1980년 달그렌 분류 체계에서는 홀아비꽃대과를 목련강(Magnoliopsida[=속씨식물]) 목련아강(Magnoliideae[=쌍떡잎식물]) 목련상목(Magnolianae) 홀아비꽃대목(Chloranthales) 아래에 분류했다.[10]
