Q 위키위키는 다른 종류를 써봤습니다. 모니위키라던지 phpwiki라던지 그런데 mediaWiki 는 새로운 문서를 생성 하려면 어떻게 해야하나요? -- Pistols

Q 미디어 위키에 대한 질문입니다. ^^ 위키를 회사에서 사용하려고 하는데 외부에서 접근을 막을 필요가 있을것 같아서 여기를 읽고 

# Specify who can edit: true means only logged in users may edit pages
$wgWhitelistEdit = true;

# Pages anonymous (not-logged-in) users may see
$wgWhitelistRead = array ("Main Page", "Special:Userlogin", "Wikipedia:Help");

위와 같이 설정을 해줬습니다. 그리고 "if your MediaWiki is in a language different than English, you need to translate the titles in the array." 의 이유로

$wgWhitelistRead = array ("대문", "특수기능:Userlogin", "Wikipedia:Help");

이렇게 고쳐줬는데, 계속 로그인을 요구하네요 어떻게 고쳐주면 될까요?

삭제요청[편집]

Hello Xaos. Do you think it would be a good idea to have a deletion policy here, and a page like the en:Wikipedia:Votes for deletion? Currently, pages are being blanked instead of deleted, and I am not always confident about deleting them immediately when they have not been seen by anyone else. 안젤라 (Angela) 2004년 10월 23일 (土) 02:49 (UTC)

Yes. Eventually we'll need a voting process for page deletion. Actually a delete request page, 위키백과:삭제요청 already exists. The policy, written there by 사용자:최종욱, is that only pages that two sysops agree to delete can be deleted. But I didn't follow this policy and tried to delete only the obvious tests and vandalisms. We need to update the deletion policy anyway, though I don't think we have enough wikipedians for voting process. xAOs 2004년 10월 23일 (土) 12:37 (UTC)
Thanks. I didn't find that page before. I think obvious tests and vandalism should still be deleted without going through there though. I agree there might not be enough people to vote, but for unclear cases, listing them a few days or a week at least would give people the chance to object if they want to. 안젤라 (Angela) 2004년 10월 23일 (土) 22:50 (UTC)

Proofread requests[편집]

Hi, Xaos. I'm Aphaia, a Japanese wikipedian. I ask you if you would like to proofread Korean traslation of Wikimedia Foudation Site content. Usually we upload content after proofreading but now Korean contents have no proofrader. A-heun translated them on meta. When you have a time, would you like to check typos on those pages in m:Translation requests/WMF? As you know, "To err is human" but I hope to reduce mistakes as possible as we can and it is hard for everyone to find their own mistakes. I uploaded already Home and About Wikipedia. 관리자선출에 대한 의견[편집]

세벌식 사용자이셨군요?[편집]

간만에 세벌식 사용자를 만나니 반갑네요. 지금까지 저 말고 세벌식 사용자는 주위에서 2명밖에 못 봤거든요.. 물론 세벌식 사용자 모임도 있긴 하지만요.. 1990년에 공병우 박사의 세벌식에 대해 한글의 창제 원리를 제대로 살린 자판이라는 글을 읽고, 두벌식을 쓰다, 바꾸었거든요. 바꾸기가 꽤나 어려웠습니다. 두벌식의 타수가 나오기 까지 한달이 걸리더군요. 언젠가는 2004년 12월 5일 (日) 07:52 (UTC)
