English: Beomeosa Daeungjeon - The Main Hall, was built in 1614 after the temple was burned down during the Japanese invasion of 1592. Major remodellings of this building were undertaken in 1713, 1814 and 1871. The buddah enshrined in the main hall of Beomeosa is the historical buddah, Sakyamuni. On the right (to the left of Sakyamuni) is Manjusri (Munsu), the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. On the left is Samantadhadra (Bohyeon), the Bodhisattva of Power. Daeungjeon has been designated as National Treasure #434.
