설명Trịnh Kiểm (2).jpg	Tiếng Việt: Trịnh Kiểm (chữ Hán: 鄭檢, 1503 – 1570) là người mở đầu sự nghiệp nắm quyền của họ Trịnh và gián tiếp tạo nên tình trạng vua Lê - chúa Trịnh tại Bắc Hà (miền Bắc Việt Nam ngày nay) cũng như là đầu mối của chiến tranh Trịnh-Nguyễn sau này. Đương thời khi cầm quyền ông không xưng là chúa nhưng được đời sau truy tôn là Thái Vương. Ông là người nắm quyền chỉ huy quân đội trong triều các vua Lê thời Nam Bắc triều từ năm 1545 tới khi mất (tháng 2 năm Mậu Ngọ, 1570).
