얀 반 데 와트

얀 가브리엘 판 데르 와트(Jan Gabriël Van der Watt, 1952년 11월 5일 출생)는 세계적인 신약학자이자 성경 번역가로, 2009년 남아프리카공화국 프리토리아 대학교 교수를 하다가 네덜란드로 이주하여 네이메겐의 라드바우드 대학교에서 신약학 및 초기 기독교 원전학 교수로 재직하고 있다. 그 전에는 25년 동안 프리토리아 대학교의 교수로 재직했으며, 남아프리카 프리토리아 대학교 100년 역사상 가장 영향력 있는 100명의 학자 중 한 명으로 선정되기도 했습니다(www.up.ac.za '선도적 사상가' 참조). 반 데르 와트는 또한 국제적으로 인정받는 연구자로 평가받았으며, 일부 국제 동료들은 반 데르 와트를 해당 분야의 국제적인 리더로 간주합니다(www.nrf.ac.za 아래 평가받은 연구자 참조). 반 데르 와트는 그의 논문으로 국제적으로 가장 잘 알려져 있는데, 왕의 가족: 요한복음에 나타난 은유의 역동성이다.

Articles

Through 2009, he has written 52 articles in peer-reviewed journals, and 36 articles in books and collected works. For one of them, the 1999 "Commentary on the Gospel according to John," and "Commentary on Colossians" published in Bybellenium: A one volume commentary, CUM, 1314–1370, 1594–1604" he won the Andrew Murray Prize as well as the South African Booksellers Association prizes for the best Christian publication.
