Fuller Theological Seminary School of Theology Korean Doctor of Ministry Program

Founded in 1995, the Korean Doctor of Ministry Program offers the professional doctorate degree through the School of Theology.

The program is dedicated to equipping Korean and Korean-American pastors with theological discernment, servant leadership, and ministry competence for the empowerment of God’s people for service in the Church and the world.

The desired learning outcomes of the program are as follows: Having completed the program studentswill have demonstrated 

  * an advancement in grounding the biblical and theological foundations for ministry;
  * an ability to critically analyze ecclesial, social, and global issues and work for positive changes in accordance with 
    Christian values and principles;
  * an enhanced professional competence in analyzing pastoral situations and develop ministerial skills 
    in various areas of ministry;
  * healthy interpersonal relationships in family, church, and society;
  * an effective leadership to build up a healthy Korean church;
  * and growth in spirituality, moral integrity, and vocational conviction

The program served more than 1,500 Korean pastors around the world. Its 450 graduates are making significant contributions to their local churches as well as theological education institutions in South Korea, North America, and on the mission field.

풀러신학대학원- 한인목회학박사과정 1995년에 설립된 한인목회학박사과정은 복음주의신학의 명문 풀러신학교 신학대학원에 소속된 전문 박사학위(professional degree)과정으로 ATS와 WASC의 정식 인가를 받아 이 두 기관의 표준에 따라 운영되고 있습니다. 본 과정은 한인 목회자들이 "신학적 분별력"과 "섬김의 리더십"과 "목회적 역량"을 갖추고 하나님의 사람들이 교회와 세상에서 섬김의 일을 할 수 있게 이끌도록 구비시키는 것을 비전으로 삼고 있습니다. 개원이래 현재까지 전세계에 걸쳐 1,500명 이상의 한인 목회자들이 본 과정에 입학하였으며 그 중 많은 분들이 학업을 진행해오고 계십니다. 450여 명의 졸업생들은 한국, 북미 지역 및 선교지의 신학교육 기관 및 지역교회에 큰 공헌을 하고 있습니다.

5-6년의 목회사역 후에 안식년을 맞아 혹은 다음 단계의 사역을 준비하기를 원하시는 분들은 입학허가를 받고 유학비자로 미국에 입국하여 3년 동안 체류하며 미국교회와 미주 한인교회 현장을 돌아보고 참여하면서 식견을 넓히는 기회를 가지실 수 있습니다.
