메러디스 클라인

메러디스 클라인(Meredith George Kline, 1922년 12월 15일 - 2007년 4월 14일)은 미국의 신학자이며 구약학자이다. 그는 또한 앗시리아학과 이집트학 분야의 학위자였다. 미국 필라델피아에 있는 웨스트민스터 신학교에서 번 S. 포리트레스와 같은 학자에게 큰 영향을 주었다. 반드루넨과 같은 학자들에게 큰 영향을 주었다.

타락전 은혜[편집]
클라인 교수는 은혜에 대하여 아담의 타락 이전에는 없었다고 주장한다. 그것은 은혜라는 복음에서 타락 전에 존재하면 속죄교리를 훼손한다는 것이다. 이에 대해 웨스트민스터 신앙고백에서는 7장에서 은혜가 타락전에 이미 있음을 말하고 있다.[1]
