Article 1259. Applications du copyright

Paragraphe 5

   Le copyright ne doit pas s'appliquer aux idées, concepts, principes, méthodes, processus, systèmes, moyens, solutions aux problèmes techniques, organisationnels ou autres, découvertes, faits, langages de programmation.

Paragraphe 6

   Ne sont pas applicables au copyright :

       les documents officiels appartenant aux agences nationales et locales de l'État, incluant les lois et autres textes légaux, décisions judiciaires et autres documentations d'ordre législatif, administratif et judiciaire, les documents officiels des organisations internationales, y compris leurs traductions officielles ;
       les symboles et signes appartenant à l'État (drapeaux, emblèmes, blasons, billets de banque, et similaires), y compris les symboles et signes municipaux ;
       les travaux publics (folklore), qui ne possèdent pas d'auteur spécifique ;
       les événements et faits d'actualité ayant un but uniquement informationnel (actualités journalières, programmes télévisés, horaires des transports, et similaires).
