프레스턴(Preston)은 영국 잉글랜드 북서부 랭커셔주의 주도이다. 이 도시는 랭커셔주의 행정 중심지이자 더 넓은 시티오브프레스턴 지방 정부 구역이다. 프레스턴과 그 주변 지역은 2002년에 도시 지위를 획득하여 엘리자베스 2세 여왕의 통치 50주년에 영국의 50번째 도시가 되었다.[1] 프레스턴의 인구는 114,300명, 프레스턴시 구역은 132,000명,[2] 프레스턴 건물 밀집 면적은 313,322명이다.[3] 2011년 프레스턴 트래블 투 워크 에러이어(Preston Travel To Work Area)의 인구는 420,661명으로[4] 이전 인구 조사의 354,000명과 비교된다.
