창포속(菖蒲屬, 학명: Acorus 아코루스[*])은 외떡잎식물군의 단형 목인 창포목(菖蒲目, 학명: Acorales 아코랄레스[*])의 단형 과인 창포과(菖蒲科, 학명: Acoraceae 아코라케아이[*])에 속하는 유일한 속이다.[1][2][3]
분류법[편집]
창포는 창포목 (Acorales)에 속하는 단형 창포과 (Acoraceae)의 속이다.[4] 이전의 분류 체계에서, 이 속은 창포과 (Acoroideae)의 천남성과 (Araceae)에 포함되었지만, 현재 이 아과는 폐지되어 단일형 창포과로 전환되었다.

2016년 APG IV 분류 체계에서는 창포과만을 포함하는 창포목을 외떡잎식물군 아래에 분류하며,[6] 이는 2009년 APG III 분류 체계, 2003년 APG II 분류 체계 및 1998년 APG 분류 체계의 분류와 동일하다.[7][8][9]
