데이비드 F. 웰즈 (David Falconer Wells, 1939년 5월 11일 - )는 남아공화국에서 태어나서 미국에 활동한 신학자이다. 고든 콘웰 신학교의 저명한 교수이며 조직신학과 역사신학을 가르쳤으며, 기독교 지성인이다. 신학과 교회사에 대한 깊은 지식을 바탕으로 사회 과학의 여러 학문 분야에 박식하며, 이시대에 문화와 복음주의 교회의 현실을 진단하고 그 해결책을 제시한 웰스의 대표작으로는 4부작 『신학실종』(No Place for Truth), 『거룩하신 하나님』(God in the Wasteland), 『윤리실종』(Losing Our Virtue), 『위대하신 그리스도』(Above All Earthly Pow'rs) 등 많은 저서가 있다.[1] 현존하는 신학자들 가운데서 정통주의적 개혁주의에 가장 충실하면서도 다양한 현대인들을 잘 설득하는 신학자로 평가한다.
