프리클리프(영어: prickleleaf, 학명: Hecastocleis shockleyi 헤카스토클레이스 쇼클레이이^[*])는 국화과의 단형 아과인 프리클리프아과(prickleleaf亞科, 학명: Hecastocleidoideae 헤카스토클레이도이데아이^[*])의 단형 속인 프리클리프속(prickleleaf屬, 학명: Hecastocleis 헤카스토클레이스^[*])에 속하는 유일한 종이다.^[1]^[2] 이 종은 캘리포니아주 동부 지역과 네바다주 서부 지역의 사막 산악지대와 평원에서 발견된다. 건조한 바위 경사면과 평평한 바위에서 자란다.

다음은 2002년 파네로와 펑크(Panero & Funk)의 연구에 기초하고^[3] 2014년 갱신된 국화과의 계통 분류이다.^[4]^[5]^[6]

에스피나아과 (Barnadesioideae): 9 속, 93 종. 남아메리카, 주로 안데스에 분포.

사칸사아과 (Famatinanthoideae): 남아메리카 1속 1종.

멸가치아과 (Mutisioideae): 58 속, 750 종. 남아메리카에 분포.

스티프티아아과 (Stifftioideae): 남아메리카와 아시아에 분포.

운데를리키아아과 (Wunderlichioideae): 8 속, 24 종, 베네수엘라와 가이아나에 대부분 분포.

고크나티아아과 (Gochnatioideae): 4 또는 5 속, 90 종.

프리클리프아과 (Hecastocleidoideae): 유일 종 Hecastocleis shockleyi. 미국 남서부에 분포.

엉겅퀴아과 (Carduoideae): 83 속, 2,500 종. 전 세계적으로 분포.

단풍취아과 (Pertyoideae): 5 또는 6 속, 70 종.

김나레나아과 (Gymnarrhenoideae): 유일 종 Gymnarrhena micrantha. 북아프리카에 분포.

치커리아과 (Cichorioideae): 224 속, 3,200 종. 전 세계적으로 분포.

코림비움아과 (Corymbioideae): 유일 속 코림비움속(Corymbium)에 7종.
