판다누스속
판다누스(Pandanus)는 약 750개 종이 있는 외떡잎식물 속이다.[1] 야자수 계열 나무로서 구세계열대/아열대 지역에 자생한다. 대부분 종들을 마다가스카르와 말레이식물구계구에서 볼 수 있다.[2] 향명에는 판단(pandan[3], /ˈpændən/),[4] 스크루 팜(screw palm),[3] 스크루 파인(screw pine) 등이 있다.[3] 판다누스목 판다누스과에 속한다.[5][6]
