장식새류(cotingas)는 중앙아메리카와 남아메리카에서 발견되는 명금류 조류이다. 24개 속으로 이루어진 대형 조류 과 장식새과 또는 미식조과(Cotingidae)를 형성한다. 장식새류는 숲 또는 숲 가장자리에서 살며, 먹이는 주로 과일 또는 곤충과 과일이다.
