작은 것들의 신(The God of Small Things)은 1997년 인도의 소설가, 에세이스트, 저널리스트인 아룬다티 로이가 쓴 소설이다. 작가의 데뷔작으로서, 출간하자마자 전세계적인 인기를 얻었으며, 출간한 해에 맨부커상을 수상하기에 이른다.
작품은 20년의 시간대를 넘나들며 서사를 구성하며, 암무(Ammu), 벨루타(Velutha), 라헬(Rahel), 에스타(Estha)를 중심으로 20세기 인도의 복잡하게 엉켜있는 여러 문제들을 다뤄낸다. 포스트식민주의, 페미니즘, 정신분석학, 생태주의등 다양한 비평관점에서 연구되고 있다.
