오스트레일리아나무쥐속(Mesembriomys)은 쥐과 쥐아과에 속하는 설치류 속 분류군이다.[1] 2종을 포함하고 있다. 오스트레일리아의 토착종이다.
특징
[편집]대형 설치류로 꼬리 길이 290~410mm를 제외한 몸길이가 190~315mm이고 몸무게는 최대 880g이다.[2]
분포
[편집]나무 위에서 주로 생활하는 수상성 동물로 오스트레일리아에서 흔하게 발견된다.
