미포자충류

미포자충류(微胞子蟲類)는 다양한 동물의 세포 내에 기생하는 단세포 진핵생물의 한 무리로, 지금까지 약 1,200종 이상이 알려져 있다. 곤충, 갑각류, 어류, 사람을 포함한 포유류 등을 감염시키는 병원체가 많이 포함되어 있다. 이전에는 점액포자충(현재는 다세포동물 기원으로 보고 있다)과 함께 원생동물문의 포자충강 또는 극낭포자충강으로 분류했지만, 현재는 지극히 특수한 균류로 생각하고 있으며, 독립적인 분류군으로 분류하고 있다.
