먹도라치과(Tripterygiidae)는 베도라치목에 속하는 조기어류 물고기과의 하나이다.[1] 가막베도라치(Enneapterygius etheostomus)와 검정베도라치(Enneapterygius hemimelas), 청황베도라치(Springerichthys bapturus) 등을 포함하여 30개 속에 약 150여 종을 포함하고 있다. 대서양과 태평양, 인도양의 열대 및 온대 해역에서 발견된다. 학명은 3줄의 날개라는 의미의 "트립테로스"(tripteros)라는 단어에서 유래했다.
