공기호흡메기과(Clariidae)는 메기목에 속하는 조기어류과의 하나이다.[1] 14개 속에 약 100여 종으로 이루어져 있다. 공기호흡메기류는 모두 민물에서 사는 종이다.[2]
분포
[편집]공기호흡메기류는 인도와 시리아, 터키 남부, 그리고 동남아시아의 일부 징역에서도 발견되지만, 가장 많은 종은 아프리카에서 서식한다.[3]
