V-2 로켓은 독일에서 개발된, 세계 최초의 탄도 미사일이면서, 세계 최초의 준궤도(sub-orbital) 우주비행체이다.[1]
영국은 V-2로 인한 더 이상의 피해를 막기 위해 베쥐덴하우트 작전을 펼쳤으나, 발사기지가 숨겨져있어 성공은 커녕 시민 500명의 인명 손실을 낳았다.
